Admonsters PubForum+ Recap: The Case for Media Quality
As 2020 comes to an end, the DV Publisher Team joined the publisher community at Admonsters PubForum+ last week.
In addition to the other enlightening presentations, we hosted a panel on how an industry shift from the concept of brand safety to that of media quality can benefit publishers through an emphasis on transparency, optimization and allocating inventory effectively. Speakers from Admonsters, DoubleVerify, Slate and TechTarget discussed the related challenges, trends and solutions for publishers.
Lynne D Johnson of Admonsters questioned the panel on how brand safety issues are impacting them, while DV’s own Pieter Mees answered questions and offered up a series of best practices that publishers can enact to experience better transparency and improved revenue. For those that missed the presentation, you can view it below or catch some of those publisher best practices in our recent blog post.
In a year that saw numerous challenges for publishers, DoubleVerify has worked to support content creators by educating brands and agencies to better utilize media quality measurement. Heather Lemon, Director of Brand Operations at TechTarget and Molly Gallagher, Programmatic Ad Manager at Slate mentioned improvements in this respect, and Pieter emphasized our team’s commitment to continuing that positive trend in 2021 and beyond.
Our team also had a number of engaging conversations with attendees at the DV Publisher Suite Virtual Booth, where Catherine from Encyclopaedia Britannica won our $150 Amazon gift card sweepstakes! Be sure to swing by at the next virtual event to chat with our team, get a quick demo, or sign up for the next giveaway.
We’d like to thank Lynne, Heather and Molly for joining our panel, and we hope that viewers found the conversation insightful. Contact us to let us know which events you’re looking forward to in 2021.
